To infinity.. and beyond!

So i'm back.. and alive.. and I still have all my body parts in tact. Friday was a tiring day after working, getting ready, and travelling four fucking hours to get to the middle of nowhere. No running water. No shower for 3 days. But we did swimming at Attitash.... I used a sled to go down a mountain. It took ten minutes. It was awesome! I actually went on two ski lifts... and went to the summit of Bear Peak.. and I was alright... well for a little bit. Then I got so shaky that I had to sit down. Going up? Or coming down? Hmm... Down is better.

Did a 5 mile hike up Crawford Notch. Took roughly 5 or 6 hours.. i'm not sure because you lose track of time in the mountains. Took a dip in the Arethusa Waterfalls... COLD. But refreshing. Ate like a pig... native corn, baked potatoes, and a pig fat slab of hamburger with cheddar cheese... I ate more peanut butter than God too. Peanut butter and jelly, peanut butter crackers, peanut butter cups, peanut butter ice cream. Cherry Garcia is MINE.
Tressel.. not fun walking on traintracks, off a trail, and looking down. It's a looonnnng way to the bottom. I think i'm all set.

Mount Washington Auto Road. Holy God. Breathtaking, nervewracking, steep and narrow, dirt and tar, BLUEBERRIES GALORE.. Twenty minutes up, double that down. "Please stop to cool your brakes".. in other words.. if you keep going, your Saturn Vue is going to topple over that edge and into the tree line that is already TWO THOUSAND FEET below you!

No moose. Only pictures and stuffed animals. Deer like they're going out of style.. Bear.. in front of the car in the middle of the road. Oogachaca. Flerby Derby and Chip and Dale. Bald Eagle on the way up the mountain.

55 degree nights and a sleeping bag not big enough for two people.. North Conway and the Penguin Store. Conway Scenic, B & M, The Cog... I've never picked so many berries in my life.. I could have made preserves for a month straight. But they were soooooo good.

And I might just go and do it all again for Labor Day.
